Hopsitality and Tourism Management

These programmes are designed for students who have completed secondary school in their own country and now wish to enter higher education without having previously studied A' levels or equivalent. The programmes provide an introduction to the world of hospitality and tourism management or business and marketing and prepares students for study across a range of Higher Education programmes offered by UCB.

The programme duration is one full year and students can enter the programme in either October or February. Students are introduced to key principles of management, the world of business and specialist aspects of their chosen industry sector. English is taught in both semesters to enable the students to further develop their communication skills.

Students who successfully complete the International Foundation Diploma can apply for entry onto either the Foundation Degree (pass grades) or an Honours Degree programme (distinction/merit grades).

There is also an opportunity to be entered for the English Speaking Board during this course.
