Students who started their course before the 2006/7 academic year will have fees in 2010/11 of £1,310. Students who started their course in or after the 2006/7 academic year will have fees in 2010/11 of £3,290.
Note : the College has a policy of not charging home and EU students tuition fees for periods of placement.
Part-time Higher Education Programmes
Foundation Degrees (FdA or FdSc), Higher National Diplomas (HND) or Honours Degrees (BA or BSc Hons)
The government offers financial support for part-time higher education students. The scheme applies to UK and EU part-time students and offers:
-
Help with tuition fees for those whose income is below a certain threshold.
-
A grant of up to £265 to meet the costs of books, travel and other course expenditure.
-
Students with a disability may also be eligible for a Disabled Students Allowance.
In order to see if you are eligible for this support you will need to make a fee assessment application to the Local Education Authority (LEA) in which you live or Student Finance England for new students.
The College remains committed to increasing the numbers of part-time HE students and so we have made a number of College bursaries available to part-time FdA and FdSc students. In effect, if your application to the LEA / Student Finance England is unsuccessful, the College will offer a full bursary to cover the costs of part-time tuition fees.

Equivalent or Lower Level Qualifications (ELQ's)
Due to changes in Government policy, students already possessing a qualification at a level equivalent to, or higher than, the programme they intend to study at any University in England will not attract government funding subsidies. Students who fall into this category will therefore need to pay the full tuition fee for the programme. There are some important exemptions to this rule, please read our information regarding ELQs .
