School of Recreation, Sport and Tourism

The School of Recreation, Sport and Tourism is a leading provider of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of Adventure Tourism, Entertainment, Sport and Tourism Management; with a national and international reputation.

Well developed international links are reflected in a thriving international student exchange programme and multinational student body, which contributes greatly to the cultural diversity and cosmopolitan atmosphere of University College Birmingham.

Much of the work undertaken in the School is closely linked with organisations and developments in the West Midlands, although project work and consultancy is also undertaken in a range of overseas destinations each year. The School liases with the BusinessHub@UCB and a number of external providers in offering a range of short technical courses to complement full-time studies and so enhance future career prospects.
