Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools CACHE Level 2 & 3
This programme is suitable for those wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification or those who would like to enter the Teaching Assistants profession.
It provides a framework for education and training for Teaching Assistants, developing the knowledge, understanding and skills candidates need to provide effective support in the classroom. Working with others, problem solving and personal performance are integral parts of the programme.
Level 2
Will enable the learner to develop the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in the school environment. It is suitable for learners that support pupil’s learning including Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and Special Needs Assistants.
Level 3
Will provide learners with an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in school environments. It is suitable for Teaching Assistants. Learning Support Assistants or those in a similar role at Level 3.
It is also suitable as initial training for those newly in a Level 3 post.
