Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
This Level 3 qualification helps candidates develop a wide range of skills related to pupils welfare, care and behaviour.
Based on the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools this programme is ideal for teaching and classroom assistants currently working in primary, secondary or special schools.
Subject areas covered include administration, supporting individuals during therapy sessions and promoting positive relationships.
Entry Requirements:
Candidates should be educated to Level 2 and must be working within the sector for at least 30 hours per week. All candidates will need to undertake a literacy and numeracy assessment prior to starting the apprenticeship training.
Employment:
Applicants need to be working in a relevant environment. The suitability of places of employment will be determined before candidates are offered a place on the programme.
The selection process also includes a basic initial assessment and an interview during which candidates' suitability, commitment and interest for the programme and ability to achieve the framework will be determined.
Employers need to demonstrate that they have the necessary Health and Safety arrangements in place to satisfy legislative requirements and that they can provide the full range of work needed for candidates to successfully complete the Advanced Apprenticeship framework.

Aged 16 - 18 years FREE
Aged 19 years plus £350 per candidate
