The Hair and Beauty profession is undergoing a rapid expansion, experiencing dynamic and diverse changes. The industry is a significant sector of the UK economy with an estimated turnover of £5 billion. This exciting profession continues to grow with ever increasing opportunities for small and owner managed businesses.
In response to this expanding and diverse sector, there is an increased demand for a higher level of education and training, requiring a combination of personal discipline, academic and vocational vigour. This course is designed to develop students academic ability and practical skills, equipping them to meet the challenges of one of the fastest growing sectors of the UK economy.
UCB offers the highest standard of teaching facilities. The Spa encompasses three hairdressing salons, health spa, four beauty salons, two sports clinics a and a fully-equipped health and leisure club.
The programme provides a solid foundation from which you may pursue a career within beauty therapy; managing salons and working in fitness clubs, hotels, health spas or the leisure industry.
