Sports Management BA (Hons) / FdA
Sport is a rapidly developing and multi-faceted industry, reflecting societal concerns over health and wellbeing and the use of sport as a social and economic policy tool.
This vocationally orientated programme is designed to develop the analytical, communication and decision making skills vital to the successful management of sporting organizations.
Opportunities exist to specialise within the programme in fields such as coaching, sports development, sports psychology or sports tourism.
Opportunities exist to gain coaching awards, whilst the College funds residential visits allowing the application of theory to practice.
Career opportunities exist in sports development and administration, sports events management, sports tourism, corporate sports hospitality, health and fitness, the marketing of sports services and products and in education.
