Marketing with Tourism Management BA (Hons) / FdA
These programmes provide a detailed understanding of the principles and operation of marketing activity in the context of tourism activity, together with a foundation in management knowledge vital to a career in marketing.
Teaching and assessment activities are strongly linked to live tourism marketing activities, such as in promotions work in the College's studios, along with marketing research and market planning, with the development of creativity and communication skills being enhanced in the process.
Opportunities exist to take modern language studies throughout the programme, whilst a host of overseas international study exchanges programmes exist in Europe, South East Asia, Australia and the USA for which students are eligible.
Career opportunities in the marketing of tourism activities are numerous in both the public and private sector, including tour operations, tourist boards, transport providers, visitor attractions and conference and exhibition centres.
