In the ever increasingly competitive business environment, a demand has arisen for innovation and uniqueness which has served to create a demand for business enterprise.
This innovative business management programme has been designed to explore the processes and techniques whereby individuals or organisations can pursue opportunities to create value and growth.
In exploring the basis of entrepreneurial activity, the programme develops the business and management skills essential in identifying and responding to opportunities, whilst offers the opportunity to apply theory to practice in undertaking live projects for local industry partners.
As an integral element of the programme, students have the opportunity to develop their own business plans as an alternative to the final year research project, with the School’s industry partners also contributing to the process of guidance.
Previous students have started their own businesses upon completing the programme, whilst others have developed careers in the full range of business functions.
