Level 2 Diploma Professional Food and Beverage Service

Course Content

This course delivers the practical skills and knowledge you will need to work successfully across all areas of the food service industry.  You'll also gain valuable hands-on experience serving customers in the College's two public restaurants.

Assessment

As with all Further Education programmes, you will be assessed on a continuous basis within a realistic working environment. You will also be asked to collect a portfolio of evidence to be certified by your assessors and there may be multiple choice tests.

Career Opportunities

On successful completion of this course you could find employment in hotels, restaurants and licensed premises, including pubs, wine bars and theme restaurants.

Progression

On successful completion of the course students can progress onto the Level 3 Hospitality Supervision or the BTEC National Diploma in Hospitalit.
