For Further Education courses you will need to complete a University College Birmingham application form which you can do by visiting our online application form or by downloading an application form and returning to University College Birmingham:

What Happens Next?
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.
The majority of applicants will be invited to an Applicant Event and we aim for that Applicant Event to happen within 4 weeks of us receiving your application.
If you are at school you will need to bring with you the following to your Applicant Event:

Year 11 Report (or Year 10 Report if Year 11 not available) and a photocopy of the report for our records

Attendance Report

Work Experience Report
-
A piece of school work / assignment
If you have left school you will need to bring with you the following to your Applicant Event:

A reference from your previous school / college or from an employer

A copy of the highest qualification you have achieved
Your Applicant Event will take place with a member of the teaching staff and for courses in food and hair and beauty related subjects you will also be given a tour of the facilities.
As long as we have your references we aim to let you know if you have a place within 2 weeks of it happening, although it is possible you may receive an indication of whether you have achieved a place following your Applicant Event.
