Course Content

This course will provide you with a thorough and essential understanding of the practices and theory of childcare and education.

Assessment

Assessment includes course work through assignments, short answer test, an extended assignment and placements.

Career Opportunities

The Diploma will enable you to practice in almost every Early Years setting in the UK and abroad, examples include: Nursery Supervisor, Pre-School Leader, Special Education Needs Supporter, Nursery Nurse, Nanny, Childminder, Children's Representative on a Cruise Liner or Holiday Resort or Teaching Assistant.

Progression to Higher Education

On successful completion of the programme students can progress onto a Foundation Degree or Degree Programme in Early Childhood Studies which is available at UCB.

Course Details

CACHE Level 3 Diploma Childcare and Education 2 years Full Time

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have a real desire to work with children plus at least 3 GCSE's at Grade C or above in academic subjects OR Level 2 Diploma in Childcare & Education at Grade C or above. School applicants also need to have a satisfactory school report and attendance record.
