Course Content

This programme aims to prepare students to work in a supervised role, competently, safely and effectively with children. It will prepare you to work in a wide range of settings with different professionals and volunteers, recognising and valuing the importance of all of them in providing a service for children and their families.

Assessment

A range of assessments will be used throughout this course.

Career opportunities

A wide range of career opportunities exist, including Nursery Assistant, Parent and Toddler Group Assistant, Mother's Help and Pre-School Assistant.

Cache Level 2 childcare and Education 1 year Full Time

Entry Requirements:
Four GCSE's at Grade D or above in academic subjects together with a good school report and a real desire to work with your children
