CACHE Level 2 Diploma Childcare and Education

Course Content

This programme prepares students to work competently, safely and effectivelywith children, in a supervised role. It will prepare you for work in a wide variety of settings with different professionals and volunteers, recognising and valuing the importance of all of them in providing a service for children and their families.

Assessment

Assessment includes course work through assignments, a multi choice question paper plus placement.

Progression

Students successfully achieving Level 2 with a Grade C or above can progress on to the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.

Career Opportunities

A wide range of career opportunities are available including Nursery Assistant, Parent and Toddler Group Assistant, Mothers Help or Pre-School Assistant.

Cache Level 2 Diploma Childcare and Education 1 year Full Time

Entry Requirements:
Four GCSE's at Grade D (some of which should be academic subjects)
In addition you must have a high level of commitment and enthusiasm.

Communication and Professional skills within childcare and education.
The childcare practitioner in the workplace
Working with children from birth to five years
