Businesses can work with students, or offer students work in these ways:

Industrial Placements

Many of the Further and Higher education courses, taught at UCB, incorporate a period of work placement or work experience. This is designed to equip our students with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the industry after graduation.

The placements range from 2 weeks to 48 weeks (dependent on course being studied) and may be paid or unpaid (again, depending on length of placement).

Graduate Recruitment

The UCB Careers and Employability Centre features advertisements for full- and part-time vacancies, as well as information about the local labour market, local and national employer details and information about graduate training schemes.

Employers are welcome to advertise their vacancies in our careers library and on the college intranet system. We also give employers the opportunity to raise their company's profile on campus through giving presentations to groups of students, and with our annual careers fair.

Job Shop
