Transparency of CSR skills through ECVET in European tourism. 2013-2015.
Trans CSR is a collaborative research project involving universities and private sector organisations in five European states.
Funded by the European Union Leonardo Transfer of Innovation Programme, the project aims at the transparency and acknowledgement of Corporate Social Responsibility skills (CSR) across the European tourism industry.
It explores the obstacles to mobility of tourism professionals and aims to increase employability by providing skills in CSR that relate to the tourism sector.
In addition, the project explores the application of ECVET principles to qualifications in CSR to increase workforce mobility and recognition across Europe.
UCB, led by Sally Ievers, in conducting research into CSR in the tourism sector, providing evaluation of the project results and contributing to the understanding and dissemination of research findings.
