University College Birmingham is the lead institution for Lifelong Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull Lifelong Learning Network:

  • We are supporting and interested in encouraging more people with vocational qualifications to access Higher Education opportunities.
  • We are aiming towards creating clear progression routes and bite size learning opportunities.
  • We have set up a number of Progression Agreements with institutions in the Progression Agreements Network.
  • A Progression Agreement is an arrangement between colleges and universities which spells out the value of a vocational qualification so learners can see how to progress onto a degree programme. Progression Agreement
